We also visited London and Paris, which meant seven or eight record stores. The new Magnetic Fields (which is excellent and highly recommended) wasn't out yet, but I picked up a bunch of other stuff I had been looking for. A few of them (namely a best-of by Dubstar, a band introduced to me like so many others by Mr. Carter and a new one by French band Autour de Lucie) weren't even in CDDB. How often does that happen anymore?
