To add to Bryan's thread, reminiscing about Nevada, I have to say one of the things I miss about Nevada is the election process. Oregon doesn't just have the freaks on the ballot like we did in Nevada. Way back in the pre-2k days we had real candidates, like God Almighty, Rhinestone Cowboy, and Pro-Life Andy Anderson.

So I went to the Reno Gazette Journal's web site to look for weird candidates, I didn't really see anyone that unusual, except for "Wild Bill" Hamma. I actually worked with this guy at Western Union. At least he's a democrat.
