>> Last night, a bunch of us went to the Nevada-UNLV football game. We stood outside in what passes for autumn here in Las Vegas -- twilight, temps in the mid 70s -- and grilled brats and drank beer and made jokes at each other's expense. You know the drill -- the Nevada fans were angry because they had to buy tickets for the sheep they brought as dates; the Rebels are lucky if they can spell "UNLV;" and on and on. It was great.
Unfortunately, Nevada lost. I was tempted to reserve unlvsucks.com, which happens to be available, but I already lost $20 when the Pack failed to cover the spread, so let's just leave it at that for this year.
