Finally, Tristan Farnon has refreshed Leisure Town. His fucked-up bendy toy dioaramas are either ingenious or simplistic, cutting or offensive, funny or unfunny. Your choice. Whatever the case, I still think Winter Pageant is a magnificent piece of storytelling -- better than most independent films. Put the kids to bed first.
