The Passenger was something of a proto-blog. Geoff would surf for sites each week, write them up as only he can (extremely well, as you'll see), and then we'd post it once a week. There's some great stuff in there. Can't tell you how many times someone would stumble upon a link and e-mail Geoff, crowing about how damn cool this site was. He'd just nod, and send them a link to one of his columns from a year before.

And that was the problem. We were becoming a Vegas-only site, and there wasn't a ton of interest in a column pointing to the best of pop culture and general weirdness. So the column died.

Today, Geoff's writing more amazing stuff for Vegas.com, in the form of Tourists for Breakfast, the single finest writing and photography on Vegas you will ever find. But for now, go visit The Passenger.
